Bill Self, a popular and wealthy basketball coach, was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on December 27th, 1962. Bill had a net value of around $10 million as the 11th of December 2023. In 2013, Self was named the Kansas coach of the most popular freshman. He had been in charge of the Kansas coach since 2013. After rebuilding their Golden Eagles, Self was appointed by the crosstown rival Tulsa and spent three seasons (1998 to 2000) in Tulsa, accumulating a best-ever 74-27 record. When he was at TU Self coached the Golden Hurricane to two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999 and 2000. Self directed TU's Golden Hurricane team to the first Elite Eight in 1999/2000, setting the school single-season victory record by scoring 32-5.
