Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first few minutes. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. In her last fight for the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her for a second-round TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd's win was a majority decision as well as her Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. For a replacement last minute to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
