Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd won her next bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won the next match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final match in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through her ground and pound tactics and earned an TKO 2nd round win. She continued to dominate and scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges between the two fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. After a short break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight ended in an majority decision.
