Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. In the age of 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Then, she went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to beat McGill. She ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the second. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the initial round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost the fight via majority decision.
