Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. She returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a pro. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round in the 2nd. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for the performance of the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's had in a major role. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
