Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish, born 7 August 1982, in Australia, is an actress. Cornish is best known for her performances in films such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). Cornish won her debut Screen Actors Guild Award with her last film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin starred in Adventureland, (2009) while Ann McDonough was in The Mothman Prophecies and other films. Betty Gilpin's parents were supportive in encouraging her to become an actor. Fordham College was her first selection when it came time to enter college. In Fordham she developed her talents. Gilpin was still auditioning for television and film roles while performing in Off Broadway productions. Gilpin was cast in a minor part on Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). She also appeared as NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and 2011. Gilpin continued to land mostly TV guest spots in the subsequent years before she got her first break, in 2013, for the part of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin starred in Nurse Jackie during 34 episodes as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before it ended its run on June 15, 2015. Gilpin was also a part of the thriller mystery True Story (2015).
